Bristol Elder Services, Inc. (Bristol) is an open and affirming private, non-profit organization established in 1973.  The agency is primarily funded by contracts through the Massachusetts Executive Office of Elder Affairs.  Bristol provides and advocates for community-based long term services and supports that promote independence and dignity for all elders and disabled individuals, their families, and caregivers.  For most programs and services, Bristol covers 15 greater Attleboro, Fall River, and Taunton communities; for elder protective services, the area includes the city of New Bedford and surrounding communities.

We provide training, professional development programs, and opportunity for advancement.  Full time employee benefits include paid holidays, vacation and sick time, medical and dental insurance, and an agency funded retirement plan.  Those who work less than full time receive paid holidays, vacation and sick time, and may be eligible for an agency funded retirement plan.  Many positions offer a flexible work schedule.

All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to disability, race, color, religion, sex, or national origin.

It is Bristol’s policy that neither it nor any of its agents or other employees shall accept or consider any unsolicited resumes.  Accordingly, do not submit any unsolicited resumes to Bristol via any means (including mail, fax, or e-mail).  Should you disregard this express prohibition by sending an unsolicited resume to Bristol, the unsolicited resume(s) will not be considered by anyone at Bristol and will be destroyed.

Unsolicited resumes will not be forwarded to or discussed with any third parties, and you hereby expressly waive, release, and discharge any responsibility or liability on Bristol’s part with respect to any submissions you make in contravention of this policy.
