The Elder Critical Intervention Assessment Team What is it? The Elder Critical Intervention Assessment Team (the Team), comprised of master’s level clinicians, provides ongoing psychotherapy for elders with mental health concerns and outreach to seniors reluctant to accept services. When no other alternative is appropriate, the Team offers in-home treatment to seniors in the community who are struggling with mental health issues.
Who’s eligible? Individuals aged 60 or older.

Elder Psychiatric Assessment and Intervention Service What is it? A program that provides in-home mental health screening, evaluation, and intervention services to elders suffering from depression, anxiety, thought disturbances, or dementia. Assessments are conducted by a psychiatric nurse or by a licensed independent clinical social worker. The program also provides educational seminars on the symptoms of and treatments for mental illness to elders, caregivers, and professionals.

Southeast Regional Behavioral Health Initiative What is it? A program that provides in-home mental health servicescare including assessment, crisis intervention, on-going counseling, and information and referral services. The clinicians may be master’s level or bachelor’s level counselors depending upon the individual consumer’s need.
